1: Are you on the BETA update? If so are you running any mods? If no mods perhaps it is a new bug.
2: You've made it your "Home" ship? If so and your Frontier lands okay... I guess try the ole save / quit / reload
A little more explanation would help. There are several things that could be effecting this.
Can you sit in the seat?
Is it your home ship?
Is the planet one that can be landed on?
Are you carrying any contraband?
Can you land but not leave the ship?
No that's just one recommendation is just sell and move on. There are a couple ships that seem to have issues one being the Narwal??? Like I said I've not had this issue so I can only recommend what I've seen others recommend.
Sounds like a similar issue. Sadly no idea for a fix mine was a one off, yours is just there.
It would be of great help to submit a ticket AND include your save file showing the issue.

EDIT: Just thinking out loud, have you tried altering your ship via ship builder, even the slightest change might correct this rendering issue.
Since I like the Claymore, too, in order to avoid bugs, I just used my Frontier to rebuild it - with a few personal modifications.
