Is the update with city maps already released?

As I recently changed to a new PC I dont have starfield currently installed... As I could not find anything on the internet I ask here if the update where they promised maps for citys is already released? I install it again when this update is out, but I am unsure about its status.

I am pretty sure Todd Howard said, its ready when its done. I wish he had the same attitude for game releases XD

It's kinda sad and hilarious at the same time to not even release the game with city maps. It just shows how unfinished this game is.

They took so much time to release the game. And then they even delayed it by almost a year. And it has been out for months. To be frank I just don't think they got a lot of personel on bug fixing and QOL improvements. Anyone else would long have fixed the worst offenders post release. Either they don't care, or they don't have the necessary manpower allocated, or the creation engine is so wild they literally can't fix some things. Only Todd may know...

Which won't happen till Starfield GOTY edition, Starfield Anniversary Edition, and Starfield Special Edition are released on Nintendo Switch Lite II.

Why the blue blazes do you guys even need a city map? How are you even getting lost? In NA, each district has ONE street you run down. ONE. Akila might be a little confusing, but most of the shops are in the main plaza. Neon is ONE street. Cydonia is ONE street. How are you getting lost? There is no where to go to get lost.

Thankfully, I only bought it twice: One time the normal edition. But back in 2011 I had no idea what Steam was and after being done with Skyrim forgot my login, password and everything. So I bought it a second time with all DLC included in 2013. Later they gave the Special Edition upgrade for free. And that's what I'm still using today, never bothered with Anniversary Edition. Don't own VR equipment either so yeah. Todd got me twice but it was an accident.

They can't google "Starfield patch notes" to see what's been added, so maybe walking down the street is too much for them as well /shrug
