After hearing about the mod TGs Galactic Colonies Expanse, I might get back into the game

So a modder came up with a actual settlement building system and military recruitment. Just like Sim Settlement 2. It's still at its beginning phase but will be greatly expanded on. The problem is, I have the game for free on Xbox, but paid a few more dollars for premium to play early and this mod is for steam.... 😔... I do not want to pay $60 for this game. Might just wait until it's on sale.

I hated this game after playing it for a couple of days. Lack of content and just boring. Stopped playing it a few days after release. This mod might be a game changer for me. Forget story mode, I want to expand, conquer, and rule my own faction.

Yep same here, knowing what I know now, if i didn't already own the game I'd pay 60 right now without batting an eye.

You know yourself better than we do. Either buy it and check out the mods or wait and see. I love the game the way it is, but I'm not you so, I don't know. Regardless, there are TONS of other mods out there that look amazing and have received very high praise.

There is a large amount of content. You were most likely repelled by the content distribution that requires to enter a large number of different biomes to spawn different POIs.

Thats what said about star citizen until the devs all walked off with the ca$h

... but they never did walk off with the cash, unless you mean taking that money to fund development - Star Citizen is amazing now and alpha or not, bugs and all... It's the best game I've ever played.

That sounds like a winner! Lack of content, empty planets, no open world, annoying followers, ugly NPCs...it needs to be heavily modded. A Sim Settlement mod would be great to have!
