First person immersion mod?

Our player has a body since we can switch to 3rd person. Why is there no mod that lets us see our legs when we look down? Anyone know of there is one on the works?

Bought the game in release and was very disappointed. But after some great modders have changed some thing I didn’t like, I actually an engaged in the game now. But one thing that gets to me still is looking down and not seeing my characters legs. I can’t understand why they don’t add this.

Anyway nuts asking if anyone has heard of modders trying to achieve this.. I know one modder was working on an actual landing and takeoff mod but I heard they stopped working on it. Too bad. Would take away from the constant loading screens this game plagues from.

Please don’t come at me wrong. Just looking for information.

It will likely happen after the CK drops. The tools to mess with a lot of the standard type BGS mods are not available yet and/or not stable enough to do with out the tools.

I'm not a modder but my best guess for the reason as to why there isn't such a mod yet would be that this may simply not be possible yet without the creation kit. So current modding capabilities may not be there yet to do a first person body mod properly.

I think you need to add or change animations for that to work, might not be as easy as you think, also it will mess up mirror reflections because of the animations wont either look realistically anymore or wont match your model moves, so thats another tricky part of it.

If you could, there would be mods for removing that cause you wont see well enough when shooting below, it would drive you crazy XD They only add that for immersive games I think ;p

By their last post late last year sometime this year, I think even Early 2024 was mentioned. Though I would not be surprised if it is later since they got some much going on right now

The CK has been released recently. I did not have seen a first person camera mod that meets the OP's request yet. Maybe over time, someone comes up with a new one or one of the existing authors from first camera mods on other games has time (or has given someone rights) to move it over to Starfield

Someone would need to start creating one and i don't think i've seen anyone starting this work for now. The guy works on the one for Skyrim SE was asked if he would port it to Fo4 and i think i said that he wouldn't but if he would it can be done. Maybe one day he might even start Starfield modding.
