Load Order
If you have installed these two things, you can activate the plugins.txt function "Load Order" in Vortex. Then you can organize your normal *.esm mods there.
https://www.nexusmods.com/starfield/mods/106
https://www.nexusmods.com/starfield/mods/4157
oh and get xEdit (SF1Edit), if you have conflicts in mods, you can at least find out where and with a little more training you can resolve them yourself.
https://github.com/TES5Edit/TES5Edit/releases/tag/xedit-4.1.5c
and the last one in the loading order means that it overwrites everything from before.
This means that the last mod takes control of the settings in the event of conflicts.
So the plugins.txt file is the order each plugin will load, correct?
Check out my video guide. i briefly went over it
Says it's not available. I know how to install mods in Starfield. It's just without a plugin page on vortex I don't know what controls the load order. I'm assuming since they almost all need plugin text enabler mod that you have to create the plugins'txt file for that THAT is the load order. Is that correct, yes or no, please?
Can't remember where though
plugins.txt content is like this:
*Mex_Greenhouse.esm
*MagnusTheMagnateOutpostProductionShenanigans.esm
*CBM_CrEaToXxBuildMod.esm
*OUT-OutpostsPlus.esm
*TankGirlsPlayerHome.esm
*OutpostTweaks.esm
*BuildModPatch.esm
Since the mods above are in conflict, I made a BuildModPatch.esm myself, which resolves the conflicts and is therefore below the conflicting mods in the list.
"It just works"
It's always been download a mod. Install it and it works. Very rarely did I have to make a rule or change the load order.
Now with starfield, none of that is there. What am I missing...besides maybe a brain lol
I install my mods by hand and have edited the Plugin.txt myself with the introduction of the creations I do it now in the menu which of course also saves the whole thing in the Plugin.txt.
