Best Sniper Rifle

Anyone have preferences? I did some research on Google but the guns they mention I can't seem to find.

I carry both the Beowulf and the Magsniper for sniping. The Magsniper is for long range shots. At least for me it is. I also carry the Hard Target. All 3 can be used for sniping.

I actually found a legendary Hard Target. Works pretty good. The Magsniper though, has slightly better range, and almost double the damage..... (or more....) Both work extremely well. They are leveled though. I think the HT shows up around level 30, and Magsniper around 60??

I like the look and feel of the Hard Target the best.
I grinded out over 100 levels with one just hunting Alien Tick things and watching them roll down hills

Google mentioned the MagSniper but I cannot find it anywhere. Is it a modification of another base weapon?

- Can be purchased in the Kore Kinetics headquarters in Neon when the player is around level 45 or higher.

- Can drop from enemies (appears to drop more likely from enemies of house Va'ruun) of level 45 or higher.

I got lucky in one NG+ and found a legendary Hard Target with hit man on it for +15 when aiming. Best sniper rifle I ever had. When you add a laser sight, bull barrel, suppressor, tactical grip, tactical mag, and high velocity to a semi-auto Hard Target, it is top tier for sniping.

Beowulf is good too, since you can also add a suppressor. I usually use them as my main non-sniping weapon.

I used a Magsniper for a while, but the problem with the Magsniper is you can't put a suppressor on it. Best you can do is a compensator.

The AA-99 isn't bad and you can find it early if you have some lock skills. The deserted listening posts have several in a locked side room in the first room to the right as you enter.

I prefer stealth builds, so it's important for me to have silenced weapons, or I would use the Magsniper more.

This is the only gun I carry as it kills them just as dead at 12 inches as it does at 120 meters.

There is actually a key to that room if you go to the crew quarters. It's on top of a cabinet, in a closet. :D

I have that, I think it's a variant of the Hard Target just like the Avatar is a variant of the Magsniper. I bought both in each of NG+ runs.

Oh I think I had that one on my last NG+ run. Great weapon!
