I Killed Sarah Morgan

Rather, I got her killed - I think. I'll explain what happened below, but it requires spoilers. If you aren't close to the end of the main questline, DO NOT READ FURTHER!

During the Revelation quest, I had landed on Masada III. Sarah and I disembarked, met up with the Emissary, then headed to a confrontation with Guardian Musa. This was my first attempt, and man, I was getting beaten like a drum. Finally, we prevailed. I started running around, hoovering up everything not nailed down, when I noticed a body on an elevated catwalk. I ran up to it for loot, but saw "Sarah Morgan" written on the screen. Yep, it was Sarah, all right - eyes closed, apparently dead. BUT, the option to talk with her was showing. I hit the E key, but got no response. I tried the "resurrect" console command, and it didn't work, meaning she was still alive - I think. At this point, I was starting to panic. What I should have done was go back to the ship to see if Sarah reappeared after I boarded. Instead, I loaded a prior save and told her to wait on the ship.

Was her "death" a bug? She's always gotten up from fights before, and I assume she's a non-killable NPC. Anyway, has anyone else run into a similar instance of a companion dying, or in the condition I described above?

There should have been a heal option. But I've never seen one of the main NPC's go down flat, only to their knees. They always got up after a bit or you could heal them.

One of the Constellation people die at one point, sometimes several depending on your choices during a Starborn attack. but that is something different than you experienced.
