Crimson Fleet playthrough seems kinda dull?
After playing strictly as a pirate in the Crimson Fleet by getting arrested at the beginning of the game and telling that guy at Sysdef to screw off the gameplay as a Crimson Fleet pirate seems really half baked imo.
You can still fly and go wherever you want and no one even knows you are part of the Crimson Fleet except the Crimson Fleet even if you are flying in an actual pirate ship bought from the chick that sells ships at the Key.
This could have been so much better if the pirate playthrough with the Crimson Fleet was implemented better.
Come on modders make this better, and yes I know there is a mod for the Crimson Fleet already but it's just to get you started from the beginning of the game as part of the Crimson Fleet and nothing more.

even taking them down is boring, I couldn't be assed to finish the Quest.

Pirate play through essential stunts your progress massively as you are constantly sent to "resolve" problems with other pirates and either get no real XP or no gear if you do not kill them all. Good thing however is you can land at pirate bases on a map, and end up inside the bunker with your own ship. So thats a plus.

Also, if you side with the Pirates in the end, you make your game more peaceful as all the Pirats you would encounter on quests, POI's or at random in space are now your friends, you basicly remove a third of any hostile encounters.

Oh that was kinda hilarious. When I was in middle of the Quest, so the Crimson though I was one of them right?

I end up in an Outpost full of them, and I could walk around without anyone shooting at me.

The funny part is when I activated the robots LOL and they kept telling them 'Please leave!'

They had a stand off! The Leader was primed to shoot but didn't, and the robot just stood there repeating for them to leave the area Lol

Meanwhile, I was looting the area like hell while laughing XD

Yeah it really peeves me you just cant sneak on to the pirate station and just trounce them all. The developers went out of the their way at times to keep the most inane characters alive.

Well, you sort of did it to yourself.

If you do the SYS Def quest you join the fleet and it provides several heavy battles your way along with the Galbank finally. After which you can choose to be a real pirate and take down Sys Def.

Yeah, I feel the same. Nothing against OP because different stories hit people differently, but I was kind of scratching my head when they said the quest was kind of dull. For me, it was one of the most exciting quest lines in the game. I had an amazing time with it. I felt is was a really engaging story with a lot of action and excitement.

If you think crimson fleet is boring stop playing now cause its literally one of two good storylines, the other one being the terramorph questline. Now the ryujin industries that deserves an award for the most boring and worst questline i think ive ever done in a video game.
