Shattered Space in 2025?

I have a funny feeling that Shattered Space won't be coming out in 2024 based on the slow pace of updates, promises of new ways to travel, and the fact the game isn't doing well. Any thoughts?

Given the amount of unfinished and underdeveloped content within Starfield, it blows my mind that we may not see any significant additions to the game until Shattered Space. For example, Outposts are sorely lacking; why not release some low-costs DLC with new modules and enhanced economy etc. similar to the smaller pieces of DLC that came out for Fallout 4?

Similarly, why not release some starship DLC with a new manufacturer and modules, maybe also fix the issue with ship modules being essentially useless? There's just so much that could and should be released that I find it hard to believe Shattered Space can even scratch the surface on it's own.

At the very very least, future content has to feature a fully implemented House Va'Ruun and massive fleshing out of the main 'story'. Otherwise, the decision makers and devs really do not have a clue.

Actually even the people who created this game title have no idea what to do and bring back a game title properly.

I feel that the problems are so many that they will simply run out of ideas in the end.

Outposts can rot, I'm not paying another dime.

They better release fix content such as outposts and survival mode for free for all owners of the base game.

Half the stuff people post about as paid content is just direct stuff that a seasoned gamer expected to be in the game and when this paid stuff hits we can all expect posters to play the mini game of calling Bethesda out for having sold us content that belonged in the base game for it to even be fun or make sense.

They wouldn't have added the DLC to the SteamDB if its release was far away. Making new content takes time. In fact the updates are most likely this small because everyone's working on the DLC and I'd prefer it to be the other way round because the content isn't gonna help me if I run into a bug every 5 meters.
