has it improved and is it worth the $70 now?
I purchased the game at launched and refunded because it was not as i expected and I was sold the the hype. however, I do see them improving it and making changes.

look at no mans sky, they had a rough launch and they are great now. do we see this game going in the same direction?

should I wait for another 3 months or so to see where they are at before purchasing it again?

I would love to spend my money on good games or games that have love in them. just waiting for that time for me. Let me know your thought and the current state of the game compared to release.

thank you!

Wait for a sale around 50% off.

I would suggest wait till First DLC and creation kit at same time maybe there is sales, I played nearly 500 gameplay hours already, but since you already refund, I suggest wait till that time unless you are too bored to wait.

If you didn't like it then, not enough has changed to let you like it now.

Truth but that's why I suggest wait till creation kit where player could mod whole thing different but it's hard to said would there modder skill to do that, even free, not paid DLC, I don't know, I guess we wait and see.

DLC and creation kit are right around the corner, I would wait, personally.

thank you all for your feedback! The DLC and creation kit does sound like the right choice to buy during that time!

Wait for the summer sale at least. Possibly until CK or Shattered Space releases, depending on how much you disliked it before. Has definitely improved since launch though.

Yup, hopeful sale, so you get good deal, but to me, I'm ok spend $100 (in fact $400, I buy 2 for myself, on steam and microsoft, and I brought 2 for 2 friend, i don't regret for myself 2 copy game, I already near 500 hours gameplay, but I look at my 2 friend, one was like 10 hours and other is 1.5 hours and it's make me sad, feel that my gift to friend is shameful gift. but I did told her just wait till First DLC and patch, then best time to play, but I don't know, she and her husband would play that game. Oh well, I felt waste money there when they are not playing my gift game of them, but I did asked they do like enjoy skyrim and fallout 4 before gift them a game, so I assumed starfield is similar, :(

The core gameplay hasn't changed a bit since release. Performance improved (if you count fake frames), some quest bugs have been fixed. FormID has been touched on (though I still read about some issues here and there). And lighting has had a pass improving it.

But again, as for the core gameplay loop - same as it ever was. Wait 1-2 years, get it on >50% discount. You'll know then if the modding community has had any interest on fixing/improving the game, and whether or not the DLC were worth it.

It's a single-player game, so there's no fear of missing out on it. Quite the contrary - you're doing yourself a favor waiting.

70$ for this trash game is beyond insane. The game is at very max a 5/10 but I’d rate snorefield not higher than 2/10. Game is a major cash grab. Game is still bad after the update.

It's barely a 30 dollar game, if there's a big sale go for it.

I can't agree more with your statement! Turd Howard's shiny nugget is beyond an insult to any self-respecting gamer.

IF this thing is on a 75% off sale AND if you want a loading screen simulator to help put you to sleep AND if you have no other games that you are mildly interested in... then go for it.
