M Class ship building?
I was scrolling around on Nexus Mods looking at ship mods and found one that's meant to enable the construction of M Class ships. For those who don't know, those are like the GIANT ships you occasionally find drifting through space.
I'm curious if we'll ever see an update or a DLC that revolves around being able to build M Class ships? Of course this would require more work than just adding more building parts to the ship builder. Cities would require M Class landing pads (imagine rarely seeing an NPC M Class ship landing at these). Along with that, we'd need to be able to build an M Class landing pad at our outposts.
Anyone else think this would be cool?

Technically speaking, A class ships are essentially just Shuttles or fighters, with B class being or having the functionality of a real ship that's really just a higher preformance A class, with C class ships essentially being the "workhorse" class where you'd start seeing legitimate ships for work or combat.

I'm talkin' ships like THESE. Do NOT tell me you wouldn't want to fly one of these.

Well the thing is if they added MASSIVE ships to be playable and build-able they'd have to redo the entire space part of this game, to make it more engaging and not just a side thing that after a while you can skip completely.

So it would be a lot of work and I doubt that will get done. Its actually one of the things I don't like about NO mans sky (Since people compare this to it for a while) is the space battles, cause it doesn't feel like a battle, more like one ship shooting the other ships and the other ships are unarmed or unable to fire back due to AI not knowing how to.. Then the player comes in and has to fight the entire battle alone/might as well be alone.

Unlikely that M class ships would ever ground -- they'd stay permanently in orbit or traveling between stars, acting much as the Fleet Carriers do in Elite Dangerous. Putting the current-sized landing pads on the exterior of the capital ship could be part of the building process, different form(s) but same function. Because there would be no aerodynamic considerations the designs could get pretty wild. Sounds like fun, but I won't hold my breath.

I mean, I doubt they'd put landing pads on the ship; more likely they'd put docking ports.
