Sure, my point was simply that there are multiple ways of cheating.

Exploiting is cheating without any kind of injection.

Then you have scripting/modding which physically changes the game

Actually you're wrong.

Exploitation is the use of any feature not available to anyone else in normal gameplay. Including using design others wouldn't think of doing as normal gameplay.

Essentially.. you know when you're cheating and you're only cheating yourself.

That's why I say it's bending the rules not breaking them.

Personally I don't exploit, cheat or play easy. I prefer to play as close to vanilla as possible.

I use only 2 mods for example. Starui and scanner.

Scanning is essentially a time sink.. and there's no reason for so many scans.

As for the last comment.. I've played everything. I've been playing games since before computers even existed.

In fact - there are entire (paid) websites dedicated to selling info on "exploits" in order to gain advantages in PVP, or accumulating in game currency.

Exploiting is using features of a game- not in a manner intended.
