Gameplay Settings Bug?

I love the new Gameplay Settings and I spent several minutes adjusting them the last couple days to get a good balance for my playstyle. Today I logged in and they were all reset to normal!

in my case i will get the correct settings the game i load was saved at - the initial screen shows all at normal but when i load they seem to be as i left them which i think makes sense with people having different character/games at the same time..

I stumbled upon this issue as well. I set up my gameplay settings multiple times, but every time I reloaded the game, they reverted to "Normal." The only change I made was turning off 'Show Item Information in HUD' to resolve an issue with the mod StarUI HUD. I thought something might be wrong because I had my ammo weight turned on and I was carrying all of the ammo and did not become encumbered.

After making that HUD change, loading my save, and again setting up my gameplay settings, everything worked correctly. My character was Instantly encumbered, dehydrated, and malnourished. So I saved the game again and exited, but not to the desktop. I noticed the gameplay options were grayed out with a turning gear, which eventually became available again. When I re-entered the menu, the settings were back to normal. However, when I loaded my game, the settings returned to the way I had set them.

the new patch brought in load of bugs, you just gotta wait for the community to mod it for free.

The new patch absolutely did NOT bring a lot of bugs, Same old blah blah blah from some here.

yeah new patch brought tons of unsuspected bugs like the op was saying. and not just on my end, burden of proof don't work like that sorry guys.
