Apart from the main Starborn story sucking and the many loading screensavers: extensive, drawn out, needlessly long dialogue was the other major gripe I had with this game.
There's way too much talking, I don't need to hear an NPC's entire life story every time I chat to them for the first time!
In the real world complete strangers don't reveal everything about themselves in the first ever conversation they have with a stranger.
Sheesh.
Not a good response. At least try to understand the concept of OP's complaint, the same complaint I have by the way.
Basically if something doesn't add to the game and ends up just wasting time, it should be removed. In dialogue we want to capture the imagination of the player by building interest in the story, that can only be accomplished through relevant responses.
Visit a vendor. Specifically the Trade Authority on Neon but pretty much ANYONE ANYWHERE will run you around the block a few times before getting to their job.
Additional: Just to add, you can't walk down a street without getting tagged with 15 more things to do in your spare time (you know, instead of what you want to do). Random Passerbyers will tell you their life story....without you even engaging them.
I don't know what game you are playing but take a walk with me, I will show you the Real Starfield.
Maybe its just my sparkling personality that attracts them.
Yes, those that actually play the game know more about it than those that don't. Starfield has more than twice the dialog lines than nay other BGS title. Can't walk anywhere without hearing a conversation, nad don't get people started about companions...
