How do you collect bounties alive ?

Talking about the trackers mission board bounties.

I am in front of a guy stunned by EM weapons and I cant find a button or a way to capture him, talk to him or do anything to complete the mission.

Edit : I was in fact doing a "kill" mission (not specified "Alive" in the quest log). I went to an "alive mission" and the quest was completed instantly after stunning the target with 100% EM damage.

ive had them in downed state or stunned by EM, quest didn't advance and I got no dialogue or interactive options

did you open the scanner and scan them?

yeah that does nothing. Shows a bit of fluff info like why they are wanted ("encourages eco terrorism" LOL)

As I said in my last post I figured out I was on a kill mission, so I just had to kill them to complete the quest. "Alive" missions are completed instantly if I stun them with EM weapons.

Hey brother I spent about 6 hours on this myself and found the answer to be EM weapons.

On any bounty you have that needs to be *Alive, YOU MUST BRING A PULSE WEAPON TO KNOCK THEM OUT* once they are knocked out the bounty will secure itself and you can kill everyone else around them if you’d like.

I’m Neon there’s a vendor by the tower that sells *Nova Blast Disrupter* with it you can knock out the enemy’s and secure the bounty fairly quickly.

You just got a free quest with full voice acting, just relax. The vulture quest costs 700 credits but the thing is that content is completely optional. It will probably become free at some point like the stuff done for skyrim and Fo4

so for the mission board bounties you need to take alive i use the EM rifle once they get stunned you have effectively captured them alive and the mission is completed. hope that helps. if your looking for a disruptor i stole the one from ryujin shop before you go into the tower.

I always find it hard to relax when I buy a game for 70 euros and people talk to me about micro transactions...

the missions on the mission board already existed before, so we have to pay now to have quests in the game, is this normal? a game for 70 euros?

that plus the creation kit of which most of the mods are paid but what is this madness?

So wait, if you encounter someone with a bounty and the mission triggers, you have to EM or Kill them, no interacting or talking with them? Booo!

Thank god for the CK... in a few months modders will have this upleveled as with all Bethsoft games. Thank you Nexus mods since the early 00s!

Yep. I just completed one of the "alive" missions and that's how it ends. They say another group is sent to pick up the bounty, but we don't see that.

That's what I used. I modded the output to about 132 EM damage.

I figured out what you need to do. You have to keep shooting the target with the EM device until the Blue bar is maxed out. Once that happens they fall to the ground and you are awarded the bonus. Now when you do this, they will pop up and start to fight and you have to knock them down again. This took a few times, but once I maxed out the meter, I was awarded the bonus.

It doesn’t look like you can do anything else as it seems they are tagged and someone else will collect them.

If you are with a companion, don’t let them kill the target, so you may want to run the capture missions alone.

In the past I sided with the fleet. My intention was to claim easy bountys by visiting pirate baes and "collect" the targets there. No one will stop me because I'm a pirate too.^^

Is there a trick or something you have to do first?

If no one said it...
after you KO them with EM you can kill them for their purple/yellow item at no penalty, as you already got credit (or not half the time it bugs and no credit anyway). Either way, kill them after KO.
nova rifle can be bumped up to 125/shot but after you get higher level the above full auto ideas have a lot of merit. Or hot swap guns after beating them up a lot.

I have only gotten the bounty for capturing once. All the rest of the times I use EM to knock them out, the mission fails. Now I just kill them for loot, I don't even try.
