Who the hell Buys Creation Credits?
You people know there are modders on Nexus right?
And they do it for free right? You're not losing out on anything?
Why give this scummy practice more validity?

Man y'all were the same people to buy into the Console DLCS for Oblivion.

Well the haters are of the opinion that all mods should be free and that we shouldn't support the modders. Basically nothing changes because the Creation Kit and mods from Nexusmods both remain free lol.

It really is puzzling isn't it. Especially since this isn't some new development: Skyrim has had the Creations storefront for nearly a decade now, coexisting perfectly with Nexus and all the other sources for unofficial mods.

I see now that @Shibubs just copy-pastes the same drivel in every thread and not engaging in any form of honest discussion, so I guess it's another one for the blocklist.

Because the stuff on the CC is vetted by Bethesda to actually work?
Humble Jun 9, 2024 @ 3:18pm
Friendly achievement and friendly lore (from their point of views)

It's depend on stuff and design of Creation item and Mod. But Yes, sometime Mod is better, but sometime there is don't had like creation item, maybe lawsuit copyright or something like that.

True. Though who honestly bothers with achievements on buggy bethesda games anywho? The mods that first exist are there to help make the game function and look 'up-to-date' in the climate it is released in.

Me tracing a problem within a 100 mod setup in Fallout 4 to a creation that BROKE the main quest.

You a communist?

Modders are people, and people deserve the right to earn money from their work.

You filthy commies need to take a chill pill, sit down and shut up.

The Creation club is OPTIONAL. The paid content in the CC is OPTIONAL.

Besides, most of the modders making content for CC are also releasing the exact same content on Nexus. For free on both platforms.

If you had half an IQ point into the computer basics tree you'd be able to figure out mods that work vs dont and why.

More specifically, it will be updated automatically when the game is, so you don't have to hope the mod creator is available immediately and still interested.

Good mods deserve $$$. It is incentive to make them better. If I love a game, I want to spend my money to support it. I understand you like the pay once and then free content forever but that's not how things work. You pay any of those modders for using their mods? Are you a Nexus premium and are just supporting them or did you come post here to make yourself feel that you are better than the rest of us? Mind your own business?

Yes, but I think they had limited freedom on what they can do on create mods, they like to play safe, it's just not advanced programing beyond what tool of their can offer. Modder who do create mod without join their club are free to do whatever they want, meaning Mod would be greater and better than safe mode but downside, is that, it's can be painful with offical patch, and as long as Modder still around to fix and upgrade mod. I guess both had upside and downside.

Yes, but at cost of well know or well loved, reputation. Free Mod is often greater reputation, feedback, more follower, but set price on mod, would be less reputation, less feedback and less follower, I mean that feedback, more people play, more they would feedback, it's help track down problem or issues, if it not false report.

I guess it's trade off, money or reputation?
