It released and its good - Looking forward to the next few updates...
Because normally when an update releases, there's an announcement posted about it actually releasing. There's no update/patch notes listed on the 15th. Only the announcement that the "update is in Beta" on the 1st.
I see those too. But there should have been an announcement ON the 15th as well. It made me think the update was in limbo :/
Bethesda are doing a very bad thing with posting updates since they started doing beta patches, they do it on their bethesda.net news site as well as Steam announcements;
they post an announcement for the beta
then, when the push the beta (whether tweaked or not since beta) to public, instead of posting a new announcement, like any sane individual would, they simply edit the beta announcement
It's honestly mind numbingly stupid, because it is incredibly confusing and it messes with the traceable timeline of events.
So yeah, they released it.
Only since they updated the beta news, the news on 2nd May now reads "Starfield Update 1.11.36 - May 15, 2024" instead of whatever it read previously (I think something like "Starfield Beta 1.11.36 - May 2, 2024").

Little bit ridiculous of them to do things this way. Every single game that has updates posts an actual update on Steam. NO ONE looks at bethesda.net. It makes very little sense for them to do things the way they are. But *shrug* whatever. Now the update I'm really interested in is their addition of the ground vehicles. And whatever those entail.
And yeah, looking forward to the vehicle too :)
I would said 6 to 9 weeks for one year to 5 year, depend on microsoft and bethesda between them agreement, (Notice it's almost year, once first DLC and creation kit come out, who can said they keep doing upgrade/patch every 6 week or so or slow down or worse, they stop support of this game.
Just like SF, nothing Beth did makes sense, literally everything they do makes us scratch our heads wondering what they could possibly be thinking.
I think they're competing with Funcom for the incompetence award haha
