How many cities are there in Starfield?
My current PC can barely run this game, but I am building a monster tomorrow and I will finally be able to play this game. I was wondering, how many cities / main locations are there in the game? I know of new atlantis, the neon city, and the starwars western looking town, but how many more are there? Is there enough urbanisation in this game or is it an empty cesspit?

There are only 4 main cities and maybe 3-4 other major locations... (less than Skyrim haha) then there are 1000 pretty much barren planets for you to explore with POI's that repeat over and over... :cozybethesda:

not enough and the cities are a joke when you find them.

This is one of my biggest gripes with the game, thousands of planets, and in 200 years humans have managed 6 settlements, and no more than one per planet.
Frankly, it's mildly insulting and worrying that this is what we can expect from our descendants.
And i thought Gen Z were lazy, not sure what letter they'll be on in 200 years but they need a dam good talking to!

4 main cities and 5 smaller settlements

And repeatable civilian outposts.

There are "infinite" repeatable civilian outposts on habitable planets

There are 9 cities in SF, ,4 massive ones and 5 smaller ones

There are 9 cities in Skyrim, 5 bigger ones (nowhere near the size of the big settlements in SF) and 4 smaller.

Plus a bunch of small villages and hamlets and all on a single planet... :cozybethesda:

Yeah and SF has countless farms as well, named like "waggoners farm" or as repeated POIs

Yeah its sad that Skyrim has as much main content as SF does - I mean 1000 planets and no more main content than Skyrim...? Umm Ok... Cool i suppose... :cozybethesda:

Absolutely not

Compare location to location and come back when you're done

Most of SF content is procedurally generated and there are only 150 or so poi's that are randomly spread across the 1000 planets... Sure there is a ton more content overall only because most of it is copy/paste/repeat 100's of times over lol...

But not that much more if you just compare actual hand crafted locations...

Point is its disappointing that SF does not have alot more hand crafted content seeing they had a team 4x the size and alot more time... :cozybethesda:
