3..2..1..
Wait until Star Citizen is actually finished before comparing it to other finished games... That makes sense right...?
If they charge people money it’s fair game to critique it.
You're using the card Starfield was made for lol, I'm running Starfield on a 3060 RTX in 4K and I had to cast a spell on this game before it would run like Fallout 4. Without casting a spell my game barely gets above 29 FPS on medium, with the Master spell casting perk I get 85 to 109 fps second.
When people get a card like a 4090 or 7800, the first thing they do is take everything up to Ultra. I haven't played Star Citizen yet, waiting for SQ42, but I imagine they have ray tracing, just saying if that's on that's atleast 30 fps gone.
Edit: I also want to add when Starfield first came out I had a 6800 and this game never went below 60 FPS in 4K. But I had to return it because I couldn't stop it from freaking out when watching Amazon and Paramount, it would constantly change the resolution, so yea Starfield was made for AMD.
We all know its early access... So critique it as that, its not a finished game yet, pretty simple... Compare it to other early access games... Or you are just being unfair on purpose just to make a point which is kinda weak...
That isn’t how I make my purchasing decisions, I don’t give a free pass to early access games. They are in competition with every other game out there to get my money.
Yeah totally - The dev time is insane and slow for sure... But its actually made alot of progress in the last 12 months or so, so at least its progressing nicely now...
I like Starfield and Star Citizen - Is that allowed...?
Star Citizen will never be 'finished'. I would be surprised if it even makes into Beta. Chris has been able to milk this project for 12 years. What would prompt him to want to stop now.... He has raised what? 600 million dollars? And folks were poking Starfield for spending 2/3rds of that... At least SF is a real game that you can play. SC is still just a fancy tech demo.
Here's your quote
I'd say your reply was what was actually weak but that would be putting it kindly so I'll refriain.
Star Citizen is an Alpha... and is far from finished... No one disputes that... Critique it all you want but its clearly unfinished... Its literally an Early Access game atm
