After Starfield, will you buy another Bethesda game?
Personally I won't but I'd like to hear your thoughts why or why not.

I think they missed the spot and game won't recover.

I really want a good tes game but it will be bland with a shallow writing I'd rather skip it for good.

Yes, but it must be a Game Studio Simulator. Bethesda must be good at that.

No i wont, i am done with them lol. Idk what happen in Bethesda, look like they lost interest and not being creative. They probably have a old game engine that needed to be replace and/or better developers.

Not being creative? They made an entire universe that is completely new for their studio and started a new IP. It's the most creative thing they could have done. If you had done even a modicum of reading, you would have discovered they made a brand new engine just for TES6 and SF.

Fast travel with loading screens isnt creative, that is lame, cheap design. They couldnt figure out a way to make things truely space in 3D. Gotta remember all Bethesda games have limited zone or borders. So basically all they did is make small pockets for each planets to fast travel to with 1,000 planets is that was a mistake.

What they should have done do some research and find a way like Hello Games did to No Man's Sky, its call code generated worlds. If they cut that so call 1,000 planets, make this a true space flight simulation so players can take off, fly around and land as they please. They simply dont know how to do that and their engine is limit to that. Do you realized hand crafted zones or world would take crap load of spaces? Code generated worlds would cut that by thousand percentages.

So they should have not make this game and dump this projects and continue finish up Elder Scroll Series, believe it is the sixth. That they are good at, they just simply not good at making true space simulation. Not just yet. All Bethesda games has fast travel by optional, this one isnt. Making this a good simulation, doesnt have to be that realistic, can have fast travel for those doesnt want to fly around, etc.

Even if they can make this true space flight simulation, they can add additional systems and features with DLCs later on, it would keep the profits going!

Give up now. He is on a mission to tell everybody who doesn't think the game is perfect to stop posting here. LOL!

Depends honestly. I won't be purchasing any of their games until a couple months after release now (As long as steam reviews are good). I still haven't finished the game and see no need to come back unless there are some major changes. Hope ES6 is a banger, but I'm not getting my hopes up.

If this is the quality going forward, no.

There is no reason to decide now without having seen the game first. I will do like I always do: watch videos, especially those highly critical of the game. But there is no sign of the negative trends turning around, so it's highly unlikely whatever game they decide to make next will be something I'll consider buying.

I'll end up doing what I do for every game since Skyrim (pretty much EVERY game in the last ~10 years from any publisher), which is to not buy at release. Wait a few months, watch let's plays, read buyer reviews, see for myself what the game looks and plays like.

It's why I didn't buy FO76, or TES Online, or Starfield. And countless poorly made games in the last 12+ years. It's saved me more money than I can even begin to express.

I used to spend thousands every year on gaming (when games were actually good). Now I'm lucky to spend a few hundred in a year. Bethesda's on the "no-fly list".

I mean lets be honest bethesda games are not very good. (Without mods.) Skyrim crap, fo 3 crap, oblivions fun, 76 is fun, fo4 is mid, skyrim only has popularity because of the mod community its a very boring game.

That being said i wont pay full price for a bethesda game. Hopefully if they release anymore it will be on gamepass. Im waiting for the ES 6 hype train to start.

Me too. I'm saving a lot of money now, and that's nice. I don't regret any of the money I spent though. There were lots of good games in the past, and I enjoyed every second of them. I can only imagine the buyers remorse of people who impulse buy modern games.

I could wait for a sale and get the game for $25 but why pay $25 just to be disappointed?
ZeroFate Feb 29, 2024 @ 3:50pm
No.

I was looking forward to The elder scrolls 6 until I realized the devs that made Skyrim so amazing have all left and formed other studios. Elder scrolls 6 will be an over monetized empty boring game as that is all Bethesda is capable of anymore. They have lost their soul and ability to make amazing games.

Nope, I regret buying and playing this game. I rather play POWERWASH and ESCAPE SIMULATOR and POOL CLEANING SIMULATOR and my favourite GOAT SIMULATOR GAMES

I played Fallout 76 when it released and was dissappointed by it like a lot of others, tried geting back into it again and it just didnt work for me. I told my self after that i would be cautious for the next release and after Starfield was announced and released i waited to see what people thought and ened up buying it during its grace period before people started figuring out the game was extremely mediocre. I liked SF for the first couple of hours but after that it just didnt feel right, i had a million side quests none of which i wanted to do, exploration compared to NMS was boring, ship combat compared to Elite dangerous didnt interest me and i found myself just ignoring it, and the ship builder when i saw how it was implemented was dissappointing (this is kind of my own fault since i like my overly complicated building games). SF just kind of fell flat for me and I dont see myself buying any more full price bethesda games after it.

Of course.

Of course. I love Starfield. I haven't had a game in a long time that gives me so much freedom to role-play.
