Elder Scrolls 6? On the Creation Engine?

Oh hell yeah, sign me up! I'm ready for more loading screens!

Yeah, this doesnt fill me with enthusiasm. Creation engine sucks. Its going to be loading screen hell. I was excited for ES6 until I saw what Bethesda did to Starfield. So sad.

Given how buggy Bethesda games are on release, imagine how buggy a early build would be? Just food for thought.

Well to be fair, most games run really well on internal builds. They are often very high end expensive PC's. The problems and bugs dont occur until you open games up to wider audiences and different hardware.

Spoken like someone who has never done software development in their life

Eh ... didn't they also claim to love playing Starfield? ... One can at least hope they'll manage to recapture the magic they've lost I guess...

maybe they will surprise us but i have not had my hopes high for BGS since FO4

Bethesda has added hundreds of employees since skyrim and FO4. Still needs 10+ years to create a game that is/will be inferior to every other current game in the genre. How the ♥♥♥♥ is BGS still a company?

Because people keep buying their games, especially Skyrim

Anyone else feel like Charlie Brown with the Football?

Whatever Todd says about TES6, you'd be a fool to believe it.

And those are probably peanuts compared to micro transactions from their mobile games

I have read a lot of "creation engine sucks" opinions, and then a lot of "you don't understand game engines, lemme explain" rebuttals. And I get what everyone says on it... but.....

Its 2024, you can't even get horses right. You are an open world gaming company that somehow can't get vehicles or transportation to work well, or at all, you made a space game that I can't actually fly in, I can't land ships, I can't take them off.

So whatever it is, if its the outdated engine or they just didn't choose to make it do the thing, I can't tell and I don't care. Its 2024, their engine is either not delivering things that open world games need because its outdated, or they just don't wanna.... either way, its an indictment on them.

I'd even take a horse in a spacesuit at this point so long as it actually works.

Bullets don't even break glass in Bethesda games. Any sort of vehicle travel is way beyond their capabilities. Which is why they should of just stuck to elder scrolls. No vehicles or guns in that world.
