Invisible Ship. Can't exit.

So, I made a new ship that I like and spent a crap load of credits on, but there's an issue when I land it that it becomes invisible and I cannot exit the ship or take off. I also cannot quicksave, save or save on exit when this happens.

Anyone else experiencing this and know how to correct it?

try´d to port out? land on one of the big city planets and port directly to something like the lodge. (anything where you are directly on foot) if that works with the exit part, than there was a mention in another thread to give it a new paint job for the invisible part

The game is buggy as hell.
Just have to look up all the work arounds for the many bugs.

I tried restarting, closing steam, new paint job, etc etc etc and nothing fixes it.

If I switch to another of my ships I can land without issue, it's just this one having the problem. I tried swapping out a cockpit to see if that would help and it didn't. So, I'll load up an old save and continue on without this ship.

hm ok sorry that it didnt help. i usually build with the frontier and never had this problem

first i thought it just has despawned. its like the texture just despawned or unload. did it happen right after the big patch or somewhere around the last 2 days?

I created the ship yesterday and only made some modifications to the ship today, adding a new reactor. I don't recall if this was happening before the today's modification or not. All my other ships work fine. Switching the reactor back out made no difference.

there was a mysteriuos patch or something that has downloaded in backround 2 days ago whilst playing. Someone mention it that he got an ingame message about new content. after verifying my gamefiles i got a around 600mb download too. Since than 2 of my mods dosent work anymore. But nowhere notes to find, only something on steamdb. maybe that thing has broken something

I have had this problem with two ships that I have commandeered.

They work fine until you do anything in ship builder then when you land on a planet you cannot exit the ship.
You can leave your seat, but everything is invisible, and if you can find your seat again it will not let you sit in it, and has a message in the upper right that "this operation is not available" or something similar.

hm sound like the same message you got when try to entering one of these random landing ships that only spills out some npc and fly away

Yes. It was an Ecliptic ship I commandeered and then refurbished.

was it a normal borrowed or a console help on one of the npc spill things. the second one could explain why that bug happen, since it was not supposed to get
