Yes. Don't buy it now. Wait for the sale to expire.

A masterpiece is universally loved.
So no. That is not true.

i played it on gamepass and its just so dead and lifeless, loading screen to loading screen, exploration is pointless and boring, go play skyrim instead

Good reviews have been on sale for a while I'm thinking of having GQ write a nice puff post for me for all my ladies.

In well over 20 years of gaming, I've yet to see a game described as a 'masterpiece' that actually was a masterpiece. Paid-for shill reviews penned by so-called 'critics' often bandy the term around despite it losing any meaning when attached to their pathetic attempts at critique.

Well they did, they shut down now and aren't doing anything.

Here is the truth. If you look at this game as an action-RPG with many hours of missions and side-quests and you don't want to think about the story too much, then you should probably buy it. Forget about the outpost. Forget about traveling to 100's random POI. Just play it like a straight up story and you will be fine.

I would not lable it masterpiece. But good. But what do short words mean, especially since there are a lot of opinions out there?

Here some more descriptive words, instead of a X out of 10:

If you got gamepass you could test it there and make up your own mind.
LOL a masterpiece?? Couldn't be further from the truth. Easily the most boring game I have played in a very long time.

It's classic modern Bethesda. A mile wide and an inch deep. It's also a lot more repetitive than their previous titles and exploration is almost pointless and becomes, I don't want to say "boring" so I'll say not particularly interesting pretty quickly. Outposts are also pointless outside of resource collection and while the ship builder is great, you can play 99% of the game without ever being inside or seeing your ship.

Also, do not apply any sort of science you learned in school or elsewhere.
Games writing does not care about science in Space Game!
Science fiction and science take a back seat.

Also if you remember to ot think where's my moon rover, everything gets easier.

Also remember to really be on board with being lectured like you are in camp, it gets more fun if you think your a part of the team doing the lecturing.

It's a mixed bag. I personally like it, but I also understand why others wouldn't. All I can say really is to give it a shot and see if it's for you or not.
