Added thought, up until recently people have openly defended that it is real space game. Heck there is a NASA thread ongoing.
I wonder, how much of the engine features are removed from prior games?
One does not put a AAA game on game pass and expect great sales even with discounts
when you can pay just 10 bucks on game pass for a month. Then add the fact that the
game was not that great......means very poor sales lol!
As it should be!
Starfield is fighting for it's life in every Starfield forum community, hack this one is the most active even.

What @ as per usual.
Look what found on the internet also….Amazing eh?
You have found some unconfirmed made-up internet data says 3million sold yet I have more unconfirmed data saying otherwise- or is it confirmed…
https://www.gameinformer.com/news/2023/09/08/starfield-had-the-biggest-launch-ever-for-a-bethesda-game
Yet there was 11 million players playing it on Xbox and PC.
In case your not bright.
11 million into 3 million doesn’t exactly go….
I guess that means you need to do better…
Krash is not a troll. Confused maybe, but not a troll.
They do hire modders.
The Day 1 launch on Gamepass was definitely accounted for. It's not like it was accidental. If the game drove Gamepass subscriptions then that likely was seen as a win by Microsoft. Schemes like Gamepass and Playstation Plus are just another form of live service. Games you do not own, subscribe to, and rent basically.
That's what all these companies want now. The less games you own, the more you will be eternally renting from them from the entirety of your time in the hobby. If Starfield pushed a lot of people into Gamepass then MS likely sees that as a win. Obviously we don't know what their retention numbers for the service look like, but from the glowing way I hear people talk about it I'm guessing it is pretty successful.
