The Key - Enemies invincible (BUG!)
I just entered the Key first time.
Someone went up to me and demanded money (I suppose: Bount hunt money). I even wasn't given the option to surrender to the question. A fight began. But 50 % of the enemies are completely invincible. No melee or ranged weapon deals damage.

Is this intended or what?

Its intended. Don't worry. Continue far enough down the plotline and you'll be able to kill them all if you want. Patience is key.

(edit: ...um that pun was unintentional. )

Sounds like the opening, scripted scene where the bounty hunter kills the dude for not paying up more than promised. The player is supposed to observe that scene and be amazed at the brutality on the key. You tried to interfere?

Imagine believing that player agency would be respected or even possibly rewarded like it was in prior games.

2 questions:
1. If I want to travel peacefully at that location to access their mission board, what do I have to do?

2. What Plotline do I have to follow to finally be able to defend myself?

Yes BGS could've done better. Its only a 8/10 game, not 9/10.

1. Try resting a day at some other location and people should calm down.

2. Follow the plotline that brought you to the Key. You'll pick a side at the end, which largely makes many on the opposite side killable.

I would load a saved game from right before entering the Key, assuming you're on that undercover mission for the UC.

No, I just entered The Key without any mission related to them.

How did you get past the system pirate ships? I tried that once (just go there first time without a mission) and was obliterated.

Then you need to replay their past games ... as Starfield is only 4/10 when compared to other Beth games.

I played Skyrim extensively. I remember being stuck on that cart in the opening scene with no choice but to follow through with it.

lol: Nobody even noticed me in the system, whereas I got a 1million bounty on my head.

1. Even with the 1million bounty on my head? And no quest related to them?

Weird. In order to kill everyone on the key (I've done it several times) you have to follow the UC undercover mission. Then you'll see the opening scene on the key I was talking about.

And If I want to trade there?
