The state of Starfield 6 months later

I foolishly defended this game when it first came out, trying to justify my $100 preorder but it's so obvious now this game is abandonware. All we've gotten in 6 months are:

-Different lighting
-DLSS
-Some stupid ass poses in photo editor

Still no creation kit.
Still no improvements to Outpost Building (which is a regression from FO4)
Still no adjustments or additions to POI's
No word on the first DLC still.

This game is ♥♥♥♥ and Bethesda sucks ass now. Every time they released a game after Skryim (FO4, FO76 and now Starfield) it takes them 3 years after launch just for the game to be decent.

I feel fixes should always come before content updates at first. It just makes the experience better for everyone. This was their biggest update yet and they must have cleaned up the code because it seems to run a little faster too.

Instead of taking out your rage on users, I suggest emailing Bethesda. You bought the game from them, after all. Yelling at a Steam user is totally unrelated.

What stands out the most to me is that after 6 months people who dislike the game or those who are just using it as a front for their political agendas are still swarming this board.

Even the Day Before's forums, when that game was launched and failed, were this bad. Hell im not sure the CS2 forums are as toxic as this, and the CEO of CO has literally labelled them all toxic...

We've got the same BS posted day in, day out, constant hate spewed across both sides of the fight, and this place is as inviting as the local drug wars.

I doubt there's more than 5 threads in this entire forum that hasn't devolved into some form of hate thread.

welcome to the exciting worlds of bethesda open world games !
part of the beauty of said bethesda open world games is that they are never really finished , there's always something more coming , whether it be a mod or even a title update .
but there is a few caveats involved, first and foremost one needs to be patient and let bethesda do their thing , these games usually take a few years to get most of the bugs under control, and some never do , but this is your first pc game so i get your frustration maybe you should put it down for a bit and go play some cod or mario, some weird japanese anime game before you blow a gasket , short circuit your brain and thus get failing marks in school , no one wants you to fail out of junior high and end up on moms couch for the rest of your life.
so relax , have a cup of hot chocolate (maybe your mom will ad some marshmallows ! )

thanks for the nice letter. i feel way better now and after eating some hot choccy i can confidently say starfield is one of the best games of all time and even if it takes them a decade or two to add the tiniest bit of new content, well, that's just fine :)

and whats your point. Do you not understand that 500 code changes don't happen overnight. You think they have 500 programmers. These things have to be hunted down isolated and the they have to figure out the cause and remedy. The comment was in reference to it being called abandon ware. Obviously you don't know what that is. 500 fixes is not abandoning the game.
