Pressing E at pilot seat does nothing

Can't believe my game is broken again! I try and sit at the pilot seat, pressing E, the game pauses a bit, then returns, but the sit animation has not started. This now happens on ALL my ships. I can press R, from the outside, and I will find myself sitting in the pilot chair, but game won't let me sit from the inside!

It is 'fixed' again.. by restoring a savegame from a few hours go. ButI have no idea why animation broke. I swear, this game corrupts extrremely fast. Anyone else seen this, though?

N.B. Not updated for quickfix yet, btw.

You are just too far away from the seat. The UI shows up a fraction to far away to actually sit down. Just move closer.

Mine does that sometimes aswell. Get close and go first person

Happens as well with quests that want you to sit before talking

Nah, I was right on top of the seat, where it says 'Press E'. It lets you press the key, the text goes away, but animation didn't start.

Pull out a weapon, aim it at the seat then when you come out of aiming mode go ahead and try sitting again. Works every time for me.

I never had it happen before. Restarted the game, switched to another ship. but same deal. A restore eof an earlier savegame 'solved' it, but I rather not see the game get corrupted this way.

Thx. After not being able to play for several months, because of the FormID bug, I though "Oh no, here we go again! What's next? Ladders stop working?!"

Same problem here, like the others said you have to pull out your weapon for some stupid reason.
