Most mods do NOT need to be updated when the game gets a fix. The exception are binary executable mods. Due to how they work, ANY change to the base game files will cause them to stop working. This is normal. This is expected. This is NOT Todd's fault. This is not Bethesda's fault. This is not Microsoft's fault. This is just the way that these mods work.
SFSE, and indeed ANY script extender, falls into this category. So if you use SFSE your game WILL break when it is updated. This is expected. What you need to do is to turn OFF automatic game updates. I know this is difficult because Steam will keep turning it back on behind your back. But do try. Then when SFSE itself gets updated, then and only then update the game.
Do not worry, the script extender team is very quick and on top of things. Some of the best modders around. But they are not instantaneous, nor do they force push updates on you. So if you use SFSE then you need to be proactive and keep track of stuff.
That is all.
p.s. We learned all this in Skyrim. Then forgot and had to learn it all over again in Fallout 4. Once again we have a new crowd of people unfamiliar with modding Bethesda games. I hope this helps.
Again and again, everything gets a little fluffier. At least there are still brains :)
Oh, one more note on the side:
If you use SFSE and your game crashes despite updates (all successful), then start it without SFSE so that the shaders can be rebuilt. Then you can start again with SFSE.
the baka needs to be updated still so disable it for now. the address library is updated so update that with sfse
Baka was also updated... some minutes ago
then, in the meantime use https://www.nexusmods.com/starfield/mods/1402
"For those using it, Baka Achievement Enabler (SFSE) was just updated for game version 1.9.51:
Baka Achievement Enabler (SFSE) - https://www.nexusmods.com/starfield/mods/658?
