Cant you just FT out of the red, to another planet in the system? GravDrive is not needed for intrasystem travel.
Unfortunately I keep getting a "You cannot fast travel from this location." message.
The game is going to have small issues like this and much bigger ones for years, its how bgs rpgs work. You never have enough saves. Make more of them.
Did that twice already. It always spawns me so far away from the legacy that by the time I get there all systems are deep-deep red. They simply can't recover. And I have all the maxed out ship modules money can buy, including shields.
Okay, I literally tried everything. The only thing that worked (and I mean the. only. thing.!) was to fast travel to the same system I was already in. Not planet. Not moon. The system.
That's an awfully narrow circumstance to discover when you're trying to escape destruction.
