Starfield
Nvidia Driver 551.23 is out (also do this)
Nvidia Ultra Low Latency Mode is now compatible with DirectX 12 Titles.
When enabled in Nvidia Control Panel, this setting increases PC responsiveness by reducing the render queue. Starfield uses DirectX 12.

Games with Frame Gen:

And Don't Forget to go to your Nvidia Control Panel and Set "Low Latency Mode"
to "Ultra" for Starfield.

*Also do this: I recommend you delete your pipeline cache before launching your game.
*See below.

Every time you update your Nvidia drivers it clears your Nvidia Shader Cache - But it does not clear your Starfield Shader Cache. So -
After I install the new driver and before I launch the game I delete pipeline.cache from my folder which is located here - C:\Users\YOUR NAME\AppData\Local\Starfield

If you can't find the above file path do this as posted by Mephitic:
you can access it by selecting View->Show and checking to show Hidden items, or you can type the path in the address bar and it will take you there.

Make sure you do the above immediately after you update your Nvidia driver and before you launch Starfield.

Then the next time you launch your game your shaders will rebuild.

You don't have to do this but I do in order to start with all shader cache folders cleared.

Sorry but no one really cares, new drivers are pretty much for new games, not games that are already 4 months old unless you are saying Crapfield has tons of issues still.

i think a couple of months ago amd previewed a similar function i think it was called anti-lag+ , people got banned from competitive games for it (the bans were lifted) via anti-cheat programs . amd ended up pulling it from the driver package, i wonder if the nvidia low latency mode will have the same issue ,

Maybe you don't care but your opinion doesn't matter.

Too bad nobody here cares about what you think and feel.
Thanks, Vlad.
I was actually just updating the driver.
Thanks for the heads up, I tend to hold off updating drivers all the time unless there is a cool feature or major bug fix. The old if it ain't broke, don;t fix it. But I may look at this one.
Thanks Vlad. 👍👌😀

Yvw. I agree and that's why I posted this. This one is worthwhile.

And ... of course ... I don't have an AppData folder when I look in C:\Users\YOUR NAME
Nothing ever changes ....
It is hidden BA. You can access it by selecting View->Show and checking to show Hidden items, or you can type the path in the address bar and it will take you there.
Thanks Vlad. I had already updated now I can play around with settings.
Thank you Meph ... once again
