I can think of a few, but the thing is.. Starfield does not have companions either tbh.. They are basically just Followers.. Its the same metric, but its just "in" to call them companions, but they are not fleshed out enough to be actual companions in my opinion.
Followers have never been a strong suit for Bethesda, so its not really a big deal.
I sometimes miss their sports games.. maybe they should go back to their root again, since the aRPG legacy was basically over when Oblivion was released.. Action Sandbox with light RPG elements.. well... there are just too many other and better alternatives in our modern world.
I loved oblivion, one of my all time fave's . and i enjoy Starfield, but times change , we all move on and maybe without even knowing it.
Maybe its just not your game anymore?
I understand its not, I don´t hate the game, I just don´t think it offers me what I want (RPG elements) if I had more time and just wanted to shoot, grind, build and do silly stuff in the sandbox, then Starfield would most likely be worth some time tbh.. But I just rather play an actual RPG.
This have been a slowly but steady transistion. Everything up to and including Morrowind I would say was aRPG´s (Even if its somewhat watered down) the freeroam they coupled with it, was unique back then.. Obvliion dumbed everything down, Skyrim dumbed things even more down and Starfield is the full transition.
Sigh. It's a crap `rpg` if it can even be called one, and it doesn't do enough. This is a retrograde, a downgrade- Not a `move on`.
Wow, I'm tired of this weak-ass sauce talk. No wonder Todd laughs and has no respect in the face of its users.
I speak in the language it will understand.
So the difference is in starfail you can have the companions at all times and in cyber punk they’re only available when relevant? That’s so much better, ♥♥♥♥ I can even marry them even though I’ve known them a week whoooop!
What role do you play in Starfield besides being forced to be the chosen one on your first day mining lol
It's a fine line.
