Choice Regarding [SPOILER] is it definitive in NG+?
Hey lads. This thread isn't spoiler-free at all, so read at your own risks.

I know at some point you're supposed to choose between saving Sam Coe and Sarah Morgan.
My question is, will that choice persist in NG+?

For instance, if I choose to save Sam, will he be the one still alive in NG+ or, in NG+, can I save Sarah instead?

Thanks a lot.

BTW, completely unrelated, is there a Steam discussion forum where you can ask tech/hardware-related questions?

Thanks a lot
Regards

Entering a new universe resets everything, so they'll both be alive. Further you can then save both if you want.

Well it depends i mean constellation can have different persons in it not witnessed it myself, but there's even the chance you'll meet yourself. I mean it is randomized so both can be alive or dead or missing ... that said that's not due to your choices, but rather due that it's randomized

Any of the Constellation members can be selected as being killed, it's based solely on your affinity level and whether you choose to save the Eye or stay with the artifacts (whichever selected NPC that is where you aren't dies).

As for consequences... no, like every other choice in the game there is no meaningful consequence.

Nothing matters the game starts over in new game plus so no choices you make or consequences of those choices EVER matter. This why everyone should rush new game plus 10 to get maxed space shouts then just pick a normal universe to stay in so everything actually matters. Don't bother with the non standard universes as all but one lock you out of like 6 companions with the 1 that doesn't still locking you out of 2 companions.

A major NPC dead isn't a consequence?

How is it a consequence? The same damn NPC is up and running in the new universe. What should matter is whether the player side with The Hunter, The Emissary, or go solo. Guess what, that crap don't matter either...rofl. None of the potential branching decisions in Starfield actually matter in the end. It's flat and boring regardless what you choose to do or allow an NPC to die or not die. Thank goodness at least one of them can die, because they're freaking immortals. Ever try shooting a companion in the face? Try it and see what happens....lol.

The choice between Sam and Sarah is inconsequential for NG+. However, if Adreja dies, it may have an effect.

Not in the context of NG+ it isn't, and the fact that you discover that Em is a copy of that NPC from another universe (although the Em has the exact same personality no matter who they are) five minutes later diminishes the impact.
