Going from clean workstations to death and destruction and back again, like some throwback to Silent Hill. But is this the case if you choose to skip the main mission?

Yeah, if you become starborn, and skip the main mission (ie tell everyone you're starborn), you don't have to do Entangled again.

I thought it was a good mission though. A good example of messing around with multiverses.

You can skip the main quests in NG+ if you so desire. However, I have played them a few times just to see how being Starborn might change them.

I did enjoy it as a mission, as I love multiverse theory IRL, but it did remind me of Silent Hill on my first play through.

I thought that one was great fun. I particularly enjoyed figuring out how to save both universes and Rafael.
Ngl, entaglement is my favorite quest in the whole game.

Hmm, I LOVED this quest. I did notice though that it was severely hated on reddit. I don't get it. But a lot of the reddit people were complaining about how difficult the enemies were, one admitted to being only level 20 (how do you get to endgame and be only level 20?).

Now it could have been edited a little shorter, that's a flaw in a lot of open world game (Obsidian was terrible at this in FO:NV). Sure, it feels a lot like that certain mission that everyone loved in Dishonered 2, and like a game I can't remember the name of built around the whole concept.

But it was FUN, it was different (and I like different), it was unexpected, it had some thinking involved, it was engaging, etc. I just wish there were more than the 2 or 3 "artifact" quests that had some meat behind them and not just a dungeon crawl, and have them show up sooner in the main quest.

But then - I like exploring. I picked a lock to the utility closet but then still spent time searching for the key since I knew a second way in must be possible. I liked sneaking around and not being noticed. I liked having something to fight other than spacers and ecliptic.

There are people who rush everything. It's their style. So, rushing the main story means being low level. I'm like you, I tend to spend a decent amount of time poking around. Probably more time than I need to but I like looking around. More than anything, I want those rare components and stat magazines, as well as the cred sticks, weapon cases for chances at a big upgrade, etc. The people who rush are just trying to get more loot rolls I'm sure. I'd rather see more of everything.

I was a little surprised more of the artifact missions weren't longer. Though if they are longer, then rushing NG+ is a real problem. I think it's a nice mix to have a couple longer ones and then more shorter ones to make rushing NG+ easier.

I quite enjoyed Entangled. My hope is that BGS adds many more quests of this complexity in upcoming expansions. Even if the Hand of Todd is slow to release official story arcs, I will love to see what modders do with quests and CK2.

It was/is one of the best moments in the game. And in fact, this quest can/could be used as a litmus test to decide the relevance of trollish criticism.

If you play SF and you finished the Entangled quest, and you still do not like SF, then what you've discovered is that SF is not your kind of game.

But too many trolls here report SF as being bad merely because it is NOT their kind of game.

Acquire a maxmod Legendary Magshear and at least 1k rounds of ammo. You'll be fine.

No. If you do that, you do not have to.

My moddified Magshear weapon is freaking awesome to use against the Starborn fools.

Since this was pulled back up - I have an off question; I have done over 970 hrs in Starfield.

Which would be better - Cyberpunk 2077 on sale 53 dollars or RoboCop on sale 45 dollars?
