I thought it was a good mission though. A good example of messing around with multiverses.
Now it could have been edited a little shorter, that's a flaw in a lot of open world game (Obsidian was terrible at this in FO:NV). Sure, it feels a lot like that certain mission that everyone loved in Dishonered 2, and like a game I can't remember the name of built around the whole concept.
But it was FUN, it was different (and I like different), it was unexpected, it had some thinking involved, it was engaging, etc. I just wish there were more than the 2 or 3 "artifact" quests that had some meat behind them and not just a dungeon crawl, and have them show up sooner in the main quest.
But then - I like exploring. I picked a lock to the utility closet but then still spent time searching for the key since I knew a second way in must be possible. I liked sneaking around and not being noticed. I liked having something to fight other than spacers and ecliptic.
There are people who rush everything. It's their style. So, rushing the main story means being low level. I'm like you, I tend to spend a decent amount of time poking around. Probably more time than I need to but I like looking around. More than anything, I want those rare components and stat magazines, as well as the cred sticks, weapon cases for chances at a big upgrade, etc. The people who rush are just trying to get more loot rolls I'm sure. I'd rather see more of everything.
I was a little surprised more of the artifact missions weren't longer. Though if they are longer, then rushing NG+ is a real problem. I think it's a nice mix to have a couple longer ones and then more shorter ones to make rushing NG+ easier.
If you play SF and you finished the Entangled quest, and you still do not like SF, then what you've discovered is that SF is not your kind of game.
But too many trolls here report SF as being bad merely because it is NOT their kind of game.
No. If you do that, you do not have to.
Which would be better - Cyberpunk 2077 on sale 53 dollars or RoboCop on sale 45 dollars?
