Like wolfwingtube said official mod support should happen early this year because not only has Bethesda already announced it but with their last few titles Bethesda has basically released official modding tools about 4-6 months after a titles initial release.
Of course it'll get modding support.
The question is, since all modding is done by the community, how much of us will even be interested in spending time on a game that's worse than FO76? Given the game's clearly critical reception, past modders are already bailing and saying they aren't interested.
If a good number of the people who could mod it don't even own the game, or dislike it enough to not play it, how many does that leave to produce mods? Not a lot.
Since Morrowind, modding is the lifeblood of Bethesda games, and considering that some modders dealing with deeper code stuff already quit, because of how much of a mess it is.
But you guys keep on coping for the next ten years or so until it possibly maybe get any good.
