This article is worthless since most games have not had their sales #'s released yet.
Heck BG3 isn't even on the list lol! And we all know their official #'s are gonna be huge!!!!!!!

Look, it's okay to like something that others do not like. Just because you like Starfield doesn't make you a bad person, it just shows that you have a different interest than the current 66% of other players. The'res no need to defend a bad game if you like it; you can still enjoy it. But posts like this do not help "your cause."

Starfield released in September, and peaked at 330,723 players on Steam. Now it barely tops 10,000 players on Steam because it's a bad game. People realized this after they bought it based on the deceptive marketing that carried it to be the 4th best selling game of the whole year. They're not playing it. The player drop on Xbox is certainly worse, since without buying it people had even less investment.

Starfield has failed and will not receive much post-release support from Bethesda. They've done basically nothing with it so far.

I listed you estimated sales numbers and even with a slight varietation its still far from the top.

25 million + xbox players got the game for free and they can´t be counted as sales, nor can people that subbed for a month of PC gamepass entry (since its a rental into a 100+ games catagory)

Most of them regret for buying it, since they spent too much time into the game, cant even get a refund.

The game itself is not that great at all, so much improvements is needed and bug/glitches too.

Damn they even got beat by the RE 4 remake even with the advantage of a graphics card bundle. That's not good. "Best selling" is not that important, from the perspective of a based consumer.
Call of Duty, Candy Crush and Fifa regulary sell millions of copies and are still the oposite of quality games.

Millions of people "dine" at McDonalds.... doesnt make McDonalds quality food either ;)

It's much worse than that. The OP's claim includes everyone who got Starfield for free and everyone who played Starfield as part of Game Pass. Neither of which are actually sales, obviously. Actual sales are less than a fifth of the number of sales the OP claimed (after not even reading the article they linked to, which clearly states that the figure for Starfield is not sales).
