Killed a Terramorph at level 1.

On your first mission of the game to kill the pirates at the research lab on Kreet you discover that the UC science team was all killed by a Terramorph that escaped from its cage.
I started a new character and on this run through I decided to survey some of the area before I took down the lab. I was still level 1 when at one of the POIs I found that escaped Terramorph. I burned through all of my ammo, all but 1 of my med packs, and had to use my mining laser to finish the job, but I did get the kill.

Yah, I avoided the Lab until I could do it last... found the Terrormorph used up all Ammo and let the Wildlife kill it. Didn't know what it was till I went through the Lab

Yeah that's pretty brutal. Especially if you don't have a boost pack or the abilities.

Yeah, I only had the ammo and med packs from that first fight at the mine and that's not a lot. I had an axe, but I was pretty sure going toe to toe melee combat with a Terramorph at level 1 wouldn't have worked out for me, so that's why I used the mining laser to finish the job.

Its random and you can find more than one.

Yeah I killed it on my first playthrough with the mining laser lol, I only play on normal though.

On my first playthrough I somehow managed to screw up landing at the right spot for the main quest and ran into a Terrormorph eating a group of Eclipse Mercs. I had no idea what any of that was.

Long story short, is I finished off the morph after he killed the mercs and enjoyed lots of tasty loot the level 38ish enemies dropped. I had to do a lot of cheesing with the landscape getting in its way to manage it.

Then when I found the correct spot I was supposed to go to and read all the notes I was like "Oh, thats what that was...."

this was me my very first time playing...i thought i could survey the entirety of Kreet before moving on and boom terrormorph

totally emptied all the ammo i picked up and used every medpack i was able to scrounge in the facility lol.

luckily my good pal Vasco came through to help.
