Why do people even still anticipate TES6 from Bethesda when there's Witcher 4?
CDPR has shown and proven clearly they're LEAGUES above Bethesda in literally every manner and quality in the games they produce. Better story writing, better quest design, better combat, gameplay, graphics and oh yeah... not using an outdated ♥♥♥♥ engine that struggles to make large cities and can't even produce 60 fps on consoles in 2023.
They just made CP2077, their very first first person game, and the game already has way more first person immersion than anything Bethesda ever did in 20 years.

And CDPR at least cares about their players. When CP2077 came out a mess, they apologized profusely, quickly dished out update-after-update and fast forward today, now look much better the game is (actually almost all the game bugs was more or less already fixed in just a year ago.).

Meanwhile wtf is Bethesda doing right now? 3 months later and they are instead arguing with all the negative reviews, and only released 3 tiny ass patches, out of which they hardly fixed ♥♥♥♥ and just added Nvidia DLSS and a food consume button, all of which they just ripped off from modders.

Anyway back on topic, given that Witcher 4 and TES6 are pretty much set in the same medieval period genre anyway, I really don't see any reason to see TES6 as special in any way? All CDPR got to do is introduce character face customisation and they've already displaced the last remaining unique selling point of Bethesda games

Because Bethesda doesn't abandon their games after one DLC.

Because the Witcher series has abysmal magic, and TES shines with it. Because the Witcher's lore is dark, while TES' is rather rich and (to me) more interesting. Or maybe because I've only been following the Witcher for around 7-8 years, while I've been following TES for 25. Or I could just prefer TES' world over the Witcher's.

Lots of reasons to prefer TES VI over the Witcher 4. The problem now is a great many of us can see the writing on the wall for Bethesda, and it all points towards TES VI being a major letdown. We won't know for ~4-5 years at least.

Oops. Must have forgotten Cyberpunk 2077 was so terribly optimized at launch it was removed from Sony's store. Lol There were also several other issues at its launch but those are forgotten when a new game comes out to bash. Round and round we go eh?

I’m no longer holding my breath for tes6. If Starfield is any indication of what is yet to come it won’t be worth the time, effort or money.

After the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of starfield I do not think anyone is looking forward to it anymore leaving the game unfinished on purpose so they can push creation club, yea modders deserve some love and income but not at cost of manipulation tactics from the company is not cool! I was neutral but they really dug a giant hole this time.

Dragon's Dogma 2 isn't even out. If it has the same combat as the first one, I'm not even interested.

They are different rpg games trying to accomplish different things. Bethesda style rpgs games and Witcher games play differently. Some people think Witcher is overscrpted and linear crap.¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I plan on enjoying both.

cdpr excels when it comes to telling stories, world building, and quest design. BGS excels at modifiable sandboxes. Both The Witcher 4 and ES 6 can co exist and have their audiences. Personally, I feel I will probably enjoy The Witcher 4 more than ES 6 as I like Witcher 3 more than Skyrim. And yes, after Starfield I am seriously concerned about ES 6. We just have to wait and see what happens. But if Bethesda can turn things around after this trainwreck of a game and make ES6 at least as good as Skyrim or FO4 then ES6 should be fine and enjoyable.

Creation club manipulation was not part of those and people are waking up to allot of things now so things are allot different the playing field has changed drastically. Also I am pretty sure ive seen you constantly shilling for Bethesda so your already based.

Yup just wait and see. And also people gotta try not to have inflated expectations. If we arent in the room when they are making it we have no clue how our personal expectations will weigh against the expectation the studios sets for the game.

I don't shill for Bethesda not even a fan of the studio. I just care if a game is enjoyable or not to me. nothing more nothing less. I don't have company/studios allegiances.
