mass-less structural parts MOD? Does this exist?
Its really needed. If a ship structural parts do not give HULL HP it should have no weight, otherwise everyone will use habs with nothing really attached to it so they arent slowed down. Let us make pretty ships damn it.

Does this mod exist? If so where is it?

I always wondered why people build their ships out of 15 million structural parts that do nothing but add weight. When I use structural parts I do so because I need more weapon mounts.

It's definitely the first stat that suffers. Another thing I see a lot is people adding as many engines as they can then building a ship around them that could do with much less thrust.

Yes but ask yourself what is mass do? If mobility is not affected?

It requires you to use more engines and therefore more power to run them. Instead of maxing out the 12 pips for engines and then looking how heavy you can make the ship go the other way and decide how much power the other systems could do with first then put the remaining power into engines. You'll end up with a lighter, more efficient and less expensive build.

This is just why I want a massless structure mod just to make pretty ships that aren't affected like that I'm okay with the game give me a penalty for adding more hubs that are useful but the structuralist mods that give you nothing in return let us have them weightless
