The gaming community is objectively toxic
And getting worse as the years go on. It has become trendy to be toxic as well it seems. These forums feel like a waste of time, you rarely get any intelligent conversation or debate. It is just toxicity and hate and division from trolls and gamers.

I mean it was never great but it just seems like things have gotten worse and out of hand. Any time I browse these forums and read the comments I think to myself, yeah this is why gamers get such a bad rap in society. They make themselves look bad.

Its like i'd rather just enjoy single player games and avoid social media and these trash forums that ruin my enjoyment of games.

This is what happens when you massively overhype a mediocre game.

All of society has become toxic.

I recommend deliberate and gratuituous use of the twitfilter - aka "Block"-function.

Okay, if it's "objectively" toxic, I have several questions:
- What is the unit of measurement of forum toxicity?
- What is the toxicity level as measured in UoM above correct to 2 decimal places?
- How does the level of toxicity compared to median and average forum toxicity of AAA games?

It's not just the gaming community. It's people in general. They're just concentrated in some areas more than others, and are simply bent on ensuring no one can have any fun. It is best to go about your business as if they did not even exist, and soon, they won't.

you're not wrong. I mean its been like this for quite awhile along with the rest of the internet. I think when gaming was more niche the content of discourse onSteam and other gaming websites was less ridiculous than it is now. nOW it's pretty much like your old chat room ♥♥♥♥ talk theater where poeple jsut troll each other for the sake of it. People use the most antagonistic and provoking language because they can. Theres no consequence other than a temp ban, and thats pretty mild. as it should be.
I don't really care and find it entertaining at times but the way trolls clog up the forums, like the turds they are, gets annoying when you have genuine questions or concerns about the game.

The most important questions: can we use our toxicity as a weapon and inflict toxic damage over time? Does toxicity provide us with toxic resistance?

Also, do the toxic attacks do more damage to armor?

Also, can I enchant my toxic spells with life steal effect? Also, is this toxicity natural, like plants, poisons, or it's acid-like? If the former - can I be a dark-druid? Or a spriggan?

Toxic forums are like dog poop, you can step in it or walk around it.
