DLSS option not showing up
I don't see a DLSS option under 'Upscaling'. The only choices are Off, CAS, and FSR2. I do see the new NVIDIA Reflex Low Latency and Sharpness options, but I don't think these will work if I don't have DLSS on in the first place. What gives? Should I turn on FSR2 even though I have an NVIDIA GPU?

I was really hoping this would improve my game. I tend to get max 30 FPS. My PC is below min specs but not by much. I'm used to this level of performance but what's going on?

If it's below minimum specs, it likely does not support DLSS. I think that's an RTX only feature.

All RTX GPUs actually. 2000/3000/4000

Yes but if they are only currently getting 30FPS... I doubt they have an RTX.

Thanks for the answers. I have a GTX 1660 Ti so I guess is the best performance I'll get. Oh well.

ok... I misread that

OP: What you could do is lower shadow quality to the lowest setting. That might give you a few fps at minimal sacrifice

A friend of mine played the game for hundreds of hours using the same card in 1080p just fine somehow. As long as you have it on SSD, it should be playable.

I'd say I've been playing it just fine. Again, my standards with regard to FPS and graphics are low. Like, as long as I seldom go under 15 I consider it playable.

I'll try changing the resolution, but I think it will throw me off pretty bad. Maybe time to dig out my smaller monitor.

DLSS works great in most of my other games like Jedi Survivor, Hogwarts Legacy, Spider-Man, etc., but it's not showing up as an option in Starfield. Somethings definitely broken.
