As the words above the tomb in LOTR Return of the King said: Abandon all hope ye who enter.
Someone should place that above the entrance to Bethesda HQ...
Dante's Inferno, originally.
Yeah, I strongly recommend against upgrading for this game. It was able to play on high settings and it looks average at best. This isn't on a 2023 AAA level, in fact even Talos Principle 2 which is a AA game looks better than this and also has a vastly superior visual design. This is probably down to the fact that Croteam isn't creatively bankrupt lime Bethesda is.
Ah yes, minecraft: that eternally classic Sci-fi drama that all fans of the genre remember with fondness....
Wait-
You can't compare the two. Minecraft was a flash in the pan type thing, the right thing at the right time. Shartfield is more of a turd in the toilet situation.
You know if you did get hurt from it people would be complaining about that instead.
I wouldn't, I was actually really surprised when it happened. Tried the same thing in Talos Principle 2 two days ago and died from impact like I should have. Goes to show that AA devs who are competent and proud of their work are more diligent than lazy and incompetent Bethesda devs.
Right but, this has always been the case with Bethesda, it's not a new lazy thing, it's an old lazy thing.
It's the year of our Lord 2023, game design is meant to improve over time. A lazy thing is a lazy thing whether it's new or just something they forgot about.
In an ideal world I would agree with that, but looking at the state of games now and in the recent past, Improved is not the word I would choose. It's sad, and, it's not an excuse, but it's also not surprising.
