What are some of the best mods for this game?
I have already downloaded the achievement enabler mod because mods stop achievements, and I have already spawned a couple of ships with the console command.
So I would like to know what other mods are good to use, and I yes am playing this through pc gamepass. Thanks.

Any mod that fixes lighting first off. Neutral LUTS is my pic. But i also modify my starfeildcustom.ini file for additional lighting fixes. bAlwaysActive=1 to fix alt tabbing is a must as well. Or start with the following to run mods and skip intro and fix alt tab;

[Archive]
bInvalidateOlderFiles=1
sResourceDataDirsFinal=

[General]
sIntroSequence=1
uMainMenuDelayBeforeAllowSkip=0
bAlwaysActive=1

I started out with a highly endorsed mod collection (Constellation) on Nexusmods, but found myself deactivating quite a lot of the mods after a while. What I keep for QoL:

- StarUI mods for more compact inventory, ship builder, outpost, etc. menus
- IconSortingTags adds icons to items in containers to help identify them more quickly
- ShipPowerControlTweaks for ship power quick presets (7 is weapons, 0 is travel/grav, ...)
- Show XP on loading screen is neat
- Faster Furniture animation for when I accidentally click a chair instead of an Apple Chunks^^
- Faster Menus
- Cleanfield (no intro videos)
- Achievement Enabler (was already mentioned)

Damn Achievement enabler should be the very 1st mod added. Sucks having to start over if you want achievements. So changing my answer a bit. Luv starui mods.

I have to use a centered camera mod, because over the shoulder is just stupid, not sure of the name but it makes the game playable for me.....kinda.

I do realize that a number of people are currently modding this game. Personally, as much as I enjoy modding BGS games I'm waiting until the official tools are released before I seriously get into modding Starfield.

Also, you'll notice most of the mods currently being released come with a caution from the mod author regarding the fact that the Creation Kit has not yet been released.

A lot of the "mods" are just console commands; I'd recommend combining all of those into one file

I waited until I got 100% on achievements before even looking at MODS. Boy do I wish I didn't... my butt would be a lot less sore waiting for vendors to restore credits.

Anywho, I'm running two at the moment:
* Better Vendors (3x credits)
* Portable Vendor (summons a Trade Authority selling drone)
