Bugged out trying to finish Ryujin mission "Sabotage"

I have completed all the Ryujin storyline missions up to the point where you are told to sit in on an Executive level meeting, with no glitches to speak of, Even the long stealth run was no prob, the most interesting part of the storyline so far. But at the meeting (mission name is "Sabotage") when I try to sit in the chair as directed to continue the mission, my character does not sit and from then on, cannot move or do any other action -- even the mission and inventory menus are locked out, I just cannot do a thing and the game stalls, though it does not crash out.

A search turned up 26 pages of references to the mission title "Sabotage." Most actually refer to the mission and it seems it is very prone to glitches and bugs, but after scanning a few pages, the problem I have encountered wasn't mentioned. Has anyone else met this mission-breaker? And perhaps found a workaround? I have a save that precedes the meeting so can continue the game by ignoring it, but it leads to the last Achievement I need and I'd like to finish it off. Any intel would be appreciated.

this bug has, most likely, nothing to do with the quest itself, but with some players not being able to sit or when they do, not being able to get up.

Somehow the character stays stuck in an animation. Some drop something and pick it up, some shoot something, sometimes reloading helps, sometimes it just times out..

Here some threads about not being able to get up, maybe useful but you can't even sit down so not sure... anyway free bump

O. And if you don't mind using the console, you could also progress the quest manually... (after using Achievement Enabler https://www.nexusmods.com/starfield/mods/252 )

And if it really your last achievement you could use this mod, it will give all achievements just running a simple batch file; https://www.nexusmods.com/starfield/mods/3079

This is a bug introduced by the latest patch..... Some folks have success with shooting whatever object it is they wish to interact with, though, I am not entirely sure how firing a weapon at a board meeting will go over. :D

I'm passed that part. I have a bug showing a near constant message:

"You are currently trespassing"

I can't even sleep in my ship. This happened to me after I sat in the chair for the meeting. I'm currently trespassing at the lodge

But they don't shoot you at the Lodge, right? That'd be rather nasty. Does save/QTD/reload have any effect?

Yup, I had the same problem. For me, it helped just to save and reload the game..

Replying to a slightly old thread - but I hit this today too, and the solution was the same as when failing to sit in a ship pilot chair: just unholstering a weapon is enough.

Yes, this always seems to work when getting hang error when you try to sit in the pilot's chair. Piloting Rank 4.
