where should i store my guns?

I have the razorleaf ship. Last time i tried to store guns in the gunrack "upstairs", they disapeared when i reloaded the game. So now im scared to store them anywhere. My cargohold is already full and my other "personal one" is too (with the mantis suit).

unless i discard a bunch of stuff in my cargo hold, where should i store guns i want to keep??

I carry the guns I want to keep. Otherwise, I store some in weapon racks in the Lodge basement.

yeah but they will most likely vanish. Like previous storage issues from their games. I think the only one you can use confidently is your ships cargo which also gets wiped out if you change the cargo in ship builder. So really it's best to just carry what you want to keep and sell the rest. It's a medicore system.

I must be extremely lucky. Never had items vanish from the lodge or my ship in over 750hrs of playtime. The only place I know for sure is not safe for storage is the Penthouse before certain events happen.

Exactly how many guns are you holding onto anyway? I carry what I want to keep.

I have always lost my equipment that is stored on racks, cases and chests at some point. The only safe place is the lodge safe or your inventory.

They won't in the Basement of the Lodge. 500 hrs. not lost any weapons stored there....ever.

Are you sure they didn't just get shifted into the cargo hold? Had that once, but I regularly use the armory, and I never lost a gun...

Else, there are three bottomless chests in the Lodge - one in your room, ,the other two in the basement. Those are safe...

Since Vasco is not a real help in combat, I use him as my gun and space suit storage.

In your room it's a safe-type cupboard. In the basement there's one in the middle of the workbench-room, and one a bit further into the basement, in a little side room to the left. Those are small storage crates, but they have unlimited capacity.

I recommend to stash your Ressources in the workbench room - that's where you'll need them until you maybe go for Outposts...

Oh, and eventually you'll get another chest - big one, but that doesn't matter, just optics. - in the room with the workbenches.

the lodge infinite storage, your ship cargo, and your person are the only safe places to store anything. Everything else has reset on me at least once. So if you want to decorate manniquins & weapon racks, do so with cheap copies not your rare advanced versions. You get more guns than vendors can afford to buy, of all types, so you can safely lose the low end ones as vanishing decorations. Also if you decorate with ammo, just put 1 round in the display.
