You know what's the worst part? They could have gotten away with it. They could have put out a new TES or Fallout with a mediocre story as long as the right elements were in place. Even the clunky engine can chug along for a few more games as long as the game is fun to play. Actualy roleplaying with real choices with real consequences that creates replay value. An interesting world with interesting quests, not to mention interesting side quests. Different factions that are actually functionally different, and with the whole moral spectrum involved, also the gray area.
But they never listen, so we got this instead.
I also doubt Redfall cost that much to produce and market. It was clearly rushed out when they realised that every veteran fled Arkane.
you realise the whole world isn't America? I do believe its only Americans that make a big deal out of Thanksgiving.
They are celebrating some mythical event where the people they later exterminated saved their lives.
So no... No one celebrates Thanksgiving... Just American hypocrites.
Like... They have a problem with Columbus and you know all those bad people who killed the natives... But they still celebrate "Thanksgiving" and pretend they are doing someone a favor by doing so.
It's actually really bad optics but hey...
yet here youare talking about it.
It did not bomb, it raked in over a Billion dollars in Revenue.
Also you don't even own it.
It did not rake in a billion, and no amount of saying that makes it true. It is raking in a tarnished reputation and irreparable damage to their brand name tho.
I dont like starfield but I got to admit a few parts of this game is do enjoyable. FO76 vanilla is trash level tier. It stay that way until they release expansion that kind of fix that game. But most gamer seems they forgot that part of Bethesda dark history.
