Personal Shield
Is there a Personal Shield out there somewhere for the Player? I noticed some of the Higher Level NPC Baddies have shields; I want one :).

The *coughs* shield you see on NPC is actually the healthbar.

The high powerd enemy npc basically have 3 health blocks and are shown in red the white line is the healthbar you are actually taking shots on. This is why you can empty the white bar then pop one more to see it fill up, but then when you notice the red blocks you see 1 of these blocks is converted into a white bar for you too take down

One of the powers reduces incoming damage I think.

No, your best bet is to get Helmets, Uniforms, Packs etc... that have greater and greater amounts of resistance to Physical Damage. The problem is that gear that provides better protection of this kid, also becomes progressively more heavy. So for example, a Helmet that provides Physical Damage resistance of 100 may weigh 2 kg, but a Helmet that provides Resistance of 200, may weight 4 kg.

Some of the rare and legendary gear gives protection bonuses as well. For example, a helmet can provide 15% reduction to Physical Damage for incoming fire.

You can also upgrade certain Skills in the Skill Tree.

But that's about it.

Those are the only ways you can really mitigate damage from enemy fire.

Yes, there is but it's alien superpower, It's called "Reactive Shield" from "Tau" temple, it's unlock little bit deeper in main quest but normal Personal Shield isn't in the game, other than block and Reactive Shield from Tau Temple.

You can keep moving or use wall to cover from shooting. Again "Personal Shield" isn't in the game other than armor spacesult and skill that keep damage low.

I do appreciate all the Information; Massive Thanx Mates! However... I'm not having trouble surviving these fights; I just "Wanted" a Personal Shield if they had one; I think they're Cool! :)
