Capturing a Ship
I've Capp'd a couple of ships, and as they were better than Mine, I just choose to fly them; however... this one I wish to just sell. However... if I make it my Home ship it's going to Trash my Actual Home Ship (i.e., Remove and Store what I have in Boxes and in the Armoury); is there a way to avoid this.

Note: When I'm on board the ship, the ship shows up in my list of ships; but when I leave the ship, it is no longer on my list of ships; If I fly it it will be permanently mine; but as stated; then my Main ship gets Trashed.

Other than Using a Mod (if such a Mod exist) is there another way, in which I'm not aware, to take ownership of a ship.

Advanced Thanx!!!

When switching ships, items for me stayed in the armoury. The only time I've had things go into storage is when I modified that ship. IIRC.

Thanx Mates... It's All Good :)... Yip!

Made new ship my Home Ship... ran back to Old Ship; made it Home Ship; and now I've got both Ships :)... Woot!!! And everything stayed where it was suppose to be; both Armoury and Storage Boxes :).

@Knott: And you're right... that is when that happens to me; during Ship Modifications; Thanx Mate.

@Doom: Why do You have Half-a-Million Adaptive Frames? No Judgement; Okay, a Little Judgement :). LoL

you can mass produce stuff like the frames to sell, and get XP / level up from making them in bulk. They are worth so little each that making gigantic volumes is needed just to clear your 5k out of a couple of vendors.

Capturing ships... if you maxed out the commerce perk and know your C class ships by name or sight, you can turn 10k profit on them roughly by selling. Class A & B are not generally worth the trouble, with many class A ships only selling for 2k more than you register for. If you want big profits fast, capture bounty ships of class C type and grab all the contraband on board. Between the bounty (3k) contraband (2k-5k average), and ship flip profit (10k ish) you can walk out with 20k every 10 min or so (the large crew drop the usual guns and gear to vendor too) ... limited by the bounties available. The non class C bounties you can either try another terminal to get a better target or kill the A & B ones without boarding for a fast 3k turnaround and try again for the big prize.

the armory and storage boxes are 'cute' and kinda cool but honestly, its a LOT easier to just upgrade your cargo space and keep it all in there. That moves ship to ship. I put low value decorative weapons and such on the stands sometimes, but I don't trust it with anything good.

YEAH BETHESDA DROPPED THE BALL ON KEEPING SHIPS AND INVENTORY SEPARATE, SHOULD OF GIVEN PLAYERS OPTIONS WHEN ASSIGNING NEW SHIPS TO ONES FLEET AND LETTING YOU CHOOSE TO TRANSFER INVENTORY OR NOT, OR AT THE VERY LIST CLASSIFY INVENTORY AS ONLY ITEMS STORED IN CARGO HOLD.
