[Spoilers] Andreja won't become my Active Companion after a certain "Event"

For context, I had romanced Sarah before she died on A High Price to Pay .

Ever since that mission, I decided to have Andreja be my new companion.
Everything worked fine.

Now that I finished the mission Missed Beyond Measure, I got the prompt Sarah was my active companion . I try to talk to Andreja and have her be the new Active companion but she won't say anything and resumes like nothing happened.

I have tried this with and without Flirting w/ Andreja, I've tried doing the mission with the bare minimum objectives and the outcome is the same.

I can assign her to the ship or anywhere else. Still no new interaction there.

Is there any way I can fix this?

Update: It seems it's happening with all followers except Barrett for the mission A Power Beyond

Do that mission and it should be ok afterwards.

I had the same problem and I barely remember I had to finish the main mission (sarah furnerals) to be able to pickup another compagnon .

Definitely do the thing with Barrett. That one is buggy, and sometimes becomes unavailable.
