@Krash - I went thru like a ton of Unity runs, all siding with the Hunter but always "persuaded" the Emissary to hand over their artifact. That was until... I found out they have that sweet Va'ruun rifle (Eternity's Gate) that basically just "wins" the game
Protip: Don't use any plasma weapon w/Doogie Howser's mom... she takes it quite personally and will attack you. Then you have to drop her and then revive w/Med Pack
Not really. Depends on how you respond to the option to stay at the Lodge or go to the Eye ( just before the Hunter attacks the Lodge ) and who are your companions, crew members on your ship.
If you choose to go to the Eye and ignore the attempt there for them to stop you, you can save your romance interest. I picked going to the Eye. In that run, Barret died, whom I had never had a high affinity with and he was not on my ship or even assigned to a Outpost.
Sarah was second on my Affinity list.
The Hunter kills a member of Constellation. That’s +10 right there.
The Emissary IS Constellation. Should I say more?
I like how the Hunter calls the Emissary out for being a control freak and a hypocrite with the holier-than-thou attitude.
Bonus: Eternity Gate, my favorite weapon.
Yeah, you don't actually lose anything by going to the Eye.
I suppose there's a metagaming reason not to, though, if you're looking for a RP reason to do NG+.
