Temple of Eta

So I am in the temple of Eta and floating around. What is the puzzle here? There is only the Sphere and 2 doors both that lead back out. The scanner does nothing, no weapons hurt it. There is nothing to interact with. I am lost on how to proceed. Any clues here?

Little help here, I have used the scanner in there, there is that thing that shifts it's position I have tried talking to it, scanning it. and shooting it. I have searched the walls and ceiling, the floor has a section that moves but there is no interface that I can find, it's just a zero G room with a sphere and the moving sparkly thing and that's it

Man we dont want to spoil things for you, the actual puzzle is simple really. I mean we can exactly tell you what to do in there but that removes your ability to discover this easy step on your own...

*Edit* you are on the right track with those shifting orbs ;-)

I don't think it's worth calling it a spoiler, Something appear and disappear over a certain period of time. let's touch it.

Thank you, that hint was incredibly helpful, figured it out. Can now control gravity, It's a Starborn power.
